Priscilla Presley Updates Fans On Where Her Relationship With Riley Keough Stands

I think we’re past the awkward era. You know, the era when Priscilla Presley slammed her granddaughter with a lawsuit just days after her daughter Lisa Marie passed away.

Priscilla even went on to hint that she believed Riley Keough may have faked Lisa Marie’s signature on the updated will that removed her as a trustee, leaving Riley as the sole trustee of the multi-million dollar estate.

However, we are just learning that there was never bad blood between the two and that everything was settled on “good terms.”

Priscilla Presley – Reveals Her Relationship With Granddaughter Riley Keough Was Never On Shaky Grounds

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 78-year-old actress addressed the status of her relationship with Riley Keough, 34.

At one point during the whole lawsuit, sources shared that the pair’s relationship was not as amicable as it should have been, but it was something that Priscilla squashed as quickly as it hit media outlets.

“Riley is now the executor, which should be right, obviously, being her daughter,” Presley told the outlet. “Riley and I are on good terms. We were never not on good terms. That was all publicity.”

She went on to say that it wasn’t right that people should comment on private topics, and on top of that make accusations that she isn’t getting along with her granddaughter. It was a sensitive topic that Priscilla labelled as “not something to fool around with.”

“In fact, I’m having dinner with [Riley] tonight,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “We understand what needs to be done. I’m there for her. She knows that. She wants me there for her to help her.”

Keough and Priscilla first came into an agreement in May, four months after Lisa Marie passed away from a small bowel obstruction at the age of 54. Being Elvis’s sole heir, dispersing of the property was her decision, and for some reason she removed her mother as one of her trustees, leaving Riley as the only one.

She is also survived by two 14-year-old twins, Finley and Harper Lockwood, from her second marriage.

Following their agreement, Riley became the sole owner of Elvis Presley’s popular Graceland estate.
