Priscilla Presley’s Son Navarone Garcia Reveals He And Lisa Marie Presley Had This In Common!

Priscilla Presley shares Navarone Garcia with ex Marco Garibaldi, and in a new candid talk, Garcia opened up about his journey to sobriety, admitting that he once did drugs “40 times a day.”

Navarone Garcia On the Immense Help Mom Priscilla Presley Offered Him During Sobriety Journey In a May 1 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the only son of Priscilla Presley opened up about battling with major addiction issues after he started taking drugs as a teen.

He said, “It started with weed in high school and, by the time I was 16, 17, I had kinda tried everything.” As for using heroin, he “didn’t have a problem with it until 2015. All of a sudden I just noticed a difference.”

The difference was the way his body started being highly dependent on heroin. However, when he entered rehab in 2015, a drug test proved that most of the time he thought he was taking heroin, he was actually taking fentanyl.

“That’s a lot on the body to handle, and it became intolerable and unsustainable,” he admitted. “I would try to keep it from her, you know, what I was going through, but after a week of withdrawals alone I’d [call and say], ‘Mom, I’m a week into it, but I got to come to your house, and I’m going to be there for another two weeks,’ and she says, ‘OK. You need some soup?'”

He added, “I would need help crawling to the bathroom … she would be assisting. She was amazing the whole way.”

Navarone Garcia – On Battling Addiction At the Same Time As Half-sister Lisa Marie Presley

Later on during the interview, Navarone Garcia, 37, also touched on how he and his half-sister Lisa Marie were doing drugs around the same time, though they were never using it together. This meant that they didn’t know they were battling through the same thing together.

“It’s just funny because [Lisa Marie] and I, you know, had been struggling sometimes with the same thing at the same time,” Garcia told the outlet. “It was never like we ever used together — we’d always do everything separate — but not even realize that we were both struggling with the same thing at the same time.”

Lisa Marie had also opened up about her own struggles with drugs prior to her death in January 2023.

In 2019’s “United States of Opioids: A Prescription for Liberating a Nation in Pain,” the actress detailed how she became addicted to drugs after welcoming her twins in 2008.
