“This story is completely fabricated and not true,” Witherspoon’s rep reveals to Page Six.

The rumors originated on Wednesday, with fans wondering whether there actually could be a spark between Witherspoon, 47, and Costner, 68.

“POLL OF THE DAY: Kevin Costner is rumored to be romancing Reese Witherspoon. Do you love this new couple?” asked “Naughty but Nice” podcast host Rob Shuter on X.

One user celebrated the news, writing, “Kevin Costner is dating Reese Witherspoon? What??? You go boy!!! You go girl!!!”

Others were not as receptive to this news, with one pondering, “So there’s rumors of Kevin Costner and Reese Witherspoon dating?! She’s 47, he’s what, 68ish? Those two? Really? .”

Following Her Divorce From Jim Toth, Witherspoon’s Relationship Status Became Something That’s Highly Interesting To Fans.

Her marriage to former talent agent Toth was one that lasted for 12 years and despite their split, they “have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”

The pair share 11-year-old son Tennessee, but Witherspoon is also a mom to daughter Ava, 24, and son Deacon, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

A month after their divorce was finalized, fans shipped Witherspoon with sportsman Tom Brady, who was also fresh off his divorce from former model Gisele Bündchen at the time.

However, both their reps put a stop to this by revealing that the two are yet to meet. Makes you wonder how these rumors come about in the first place.
