Yes, we all want a Rihanna album, but not badly enough that we have to be rude about it.

And while Rihanna has often joked about her “forehead,” calling it “big” during one of her Fenty makeup videos, it doesn’t mean we’re allowed to join in on the joke, as one fan clearly found out.

This remarkable exchange went down after the ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ hitmaker shared a New Year Eve’s video where she is seen partying with friends. “Y’all, I didn’t drink all year,” she excitedly announced to the camera. The Fenty mogul then captioned the post with, “New Year, New Me.”

Most fans chose to compliment her or wish her a Happy New Year in the comments, but a very few thought they could rain on her parade. The functioning word being “thought,” because 2025 isn’t going to completely remold our favorite @badgalriri.

“We want an album forehead,” one fan wrote, prompting Rihanna to a quick reaction: “listen Lorenzo!” she replied. “You ain’t cute enough to be calling me by my black name you dizzy f–k!”

Rihanna Talks About Making New Music After Nearly A Decade

Rihanna may still be one of the reigning Queens of music in the world right now, but she hasn’t released an album since 2016’s ‘Anti’ went number one on the Billboard 200 for two weeks. Since then, she’s continued to promise fans that making new music has remained top of mind.

“I don’t want to neglect the songs that I have, so I actually want to go back and listen to stuff with new ears, with my new perspective and then see what applies and what I’m still in love with,” she told Entertainment Tonight in June. “I have been working on the album for so long that I kinda put all that stuff aside, and now I’m prepared to go back in the studio. I’m gonna start — give me a second!”

This does not mean that Rihanna has been completely silent on the musical front as she’s done a few remixes and performed ‘Born Again’ and ‘Lift Me Up’ for the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack.

The latter earned her a Grammy nomination for best song written for visual media as well as an Oscar nod for best original song.
