Riley Keough Announces Fall Book Tour To Promote Mother Lisa Marie Presley’s Memoir

Riley Keough has announced a mini-tour to promote her mother’s memoir, ‘From Here to the Great Unknown,’ which she completed after her death in Jan 2023. Once it hits the shelves on Tuesday, Oct. 8, Riley will hit the road.

Riley Keough is continuing to keep her mother’s dream alive over a year after her tragic death. Before Lisa Marie’s death, she was working on a memoir. Reportedly, she was almost nearing completion before she passed so daughter Riley decided to see her labor to fruition.

For Riley, this is a grand way to honor her mother and draw the curtains back on the woman whose background – she was the daughter of the great Elvis Presley – overshadowed her life.

‘From Here to the Great Unknown’ will be published by Random House, and in a recent post shared on social media, the publishers announced Riley’s intentions to tour with the book.

“Sometimes the most famous among us are the least known. Join @RileyKeough for a one-of-a-kind conversation as she pays tribute to her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s incredible memory with the release of their memoir, FROM HERE TO THE GREAT UNKNOWN,” the book publisher shared on social media.

The ‘Daisy Jones and the Six’ actress will be joined by a special guest in six different cities, while she explores “a legendary tale of American royalty, family ties, the highs and lows of fame, love, grief, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and daughter.”

Riley will kick off the book tour in New York.on Wednesday, Oct. 9, with stops in St Louis, Nashville, London and Memphis – at Elvis’ Graceland estate, before concluding in Los Angeles on October 20.
The book’s cover is an illustration of young Lisa Marie with her father Elvis Presley, who died at age 42 in 1977.

The memoir will cover Lisa Marie’s milestone moments, from a young girl dealing with the pain of losing her father, to her struggles with addiction and grief as a grownup. It will also give fans an indepth look into her relationship with Riley’s father, musician Danny Keough, and her marriage to Michael Jackson.

Per the book’s description, the memoir is a deeply personal adventure told through the voices of the mother-daughter duo as they “try to heal each other” through past memories.
