Taika Waititi and Rita Ora are officially husband and wife. According to a source, the “Let You Love Me” singer, 31, and the “Thor: Love and Thunder” actor/director, 46, tied the knot in a “very small” ceremony.

In recent pictures shared on social media, Waititi was wearing a gold ring. At the moment, reps for the stars, including the stars themselves, have not yet publicly addressed the news.

There’s no inside details about the ceremony and what gown Rita walked down the aisle in yet.

Rita and Taika went public with their romance after they were first romantically linked in April 2021, when she shared a pic of her and Waititi embracing last year. She captioned the post, “Good times, memories, random things on my phone and the ones I love.”

Later on in August 2021, the couple made their red carpet debut at the premiere of “The Suicide Squad” in Los Angeles. A month later, Rita and Taika attended the 2021 Met Gala together.

Taika’s professional history includes winning an Oscar for his 2019 film “Jojo Rabbit”, which he directed and starred in. He has credits for working on movies like “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” and “What We Do in the Shadows”, and he’s acted in films like “Free Guy”, “Lightyear” and Disney+’s “The Mandalorian”.

Taika Waititi’s – Previous Marriage And Children

In 2018, Taika Waititi split from his wife of seven years Chelsea Winstanley. He and Winstanley share two kids, daughters Te Kāinga o te Hinekāhu, 10, and Matewa Kiritapu, 6.

Rita Ora, who is British, has also starred in such movies as the “Fifty Shades of Grey” franchise, apart from having a very successful music career. She’s also among the cast of the upcoming action movie “Tin Soldier” alongside Jamie Foxx. She will lend her voice to the upcoming animated movie “Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight”.

In September, Ora told Vogue Australia about keeping her love life mostly private. “I’m in a great place in my life, that’s all I’m going to say about that,” she said at the time. “I just think, respectfully, privacy is important. … I learned a lot in my 20s.”
