Rosie O’Donnell Gets Harassed By Fans Wanting Madonna Updates

Rosie O’Donnell has been friends with Madonna since forever. When the news arrived that the singer ended up in the ICU with a serious bacterial infection, fans turned to Rosie’sInstagram for updates.

But, she’s getting some harassment now since the iconic entertainer returned home. Lots of fans are curious about her condition, while others expressed their frustration over the Celebration tour being on hiatus.

Madonna Scared Her Family With Ill Health

If you don’t know, the famous singer has two kids at home, twins Estere and Stella. Naturally, fans’ thoughts turned to them because when their guardian was discovered, she was not responsive. Imagine how terrifying that must have been.

Anyway, updates that emerged revealed that Narcan was used to bring her around and she ended up intubated. Apparently, she had sepsis which became a nasty infection. 

Madonna, fans suspect had spent a lot of time working and preparing for her Celebration Tour instead of looking after her health. Apparently, she ran a low-grade fever and wasn’t feeling too good. In fact, on social media, some fans seemed sad that she neglected her health. And now, some of them are angry because updates are few and far between. So, they started to harass her friend. Rosie O’Donnell did say that her friend was at home and mending slowly. But, that’s not enough for devoted fans.  

Fans Get Demanding With Rosie O’Donnell

On July 7, Rosie took to her Instagram and shared a photo of herself in a beach scene. In her caption, she said, “b n t ❤️❤️❤️.”  Well, it seemed that because she didn’t update about her friend, fans were upset. One of them said, “How’s Madonna????? ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m still worried about her even tho she’s okay.”

Others joined in and clamored for more news: “For God’s sake, give us … news, please .”

Other Madonna fans slammed her manager Guy Oseary for announcing the tour hiatus so late: as if Rosie might pick up the phone and call him out. Actually, it also seemed as if people are angry that the singer fell ill ahead of the tour. Nonetheless, it’s unlikely that she planned her near-death experience. 

Followers Tire Of Harassment

Not all of Rosie’s followers expect her to update about Madonna on the hour, every hour. A fan account opined, “Healing requires time and sleeping. And NO stress. I’m sure there isn’t much to tell. She’s on the mend so we have to be patient.‍♀️❤️”

Another one wrote, “…let her enjoy some me time and recover. Also honestly this is not a Madonna post. Rosie is posting about her family ❤️.”

Given the fact that the iconic singer is likely under the best medical care that money can buy, perhaps people should stop harassing her friend, Rosie O’Donnell. After all, she has her own family to worry about as well.
