Ryan Reynolds Honors Wife Blake Lively And His Children During People’s Choice Awards Speech

Hollywood news and updates tease that Ryan Reynolds acknowledged his whole family after receiving the Icon Award.

Ryan Reynolds first appeared onscreen when he played the role of Billy Simpson in Nickelodeon’s teen drama television series titled “Fifteen.” Following the huge success of the sitcom “Two Guys and a Girl,” the actor starred in some blockbuster movies, including the romcom, “The Proposal,” where he worked with Sandra Bullock.

Reynolds also received several acting recognitions, such as Best Actor in a Comedy for his movie “Deadpool” and Best Comedic Performance for “Free Guy.” Last 2011, the 46-year-old actor started dating Blake Lively after they met on the set of “Green Lantern.” In the following year, the two tied a knot and shared three children.

The iconic actor recently received the Icon Award at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. In his speech, he uttered his love to his family as he gave a shoutout to his mom, Tammy, and three brothers. Reynolds also acknowledged his deceased father, who would possibly be impressed with his granddaughters.

The “Detective Pikachu” actor also expressed his excitement over his upcoming fourth child. After delivering his sarcastic words to his family, the actor hailed his wife and his children as his major inspiration in life. “Blake and my girls, you are quite literally my heart, my hope, my happiness,” he stated.

“I joke that my family exhausts me, but in reality, you give me more strength than any man could possibly deserve,” Reynolds continued.

Last month, the “Red Notice” star bagged the Career Achievement Award during 2022’s American Cinematheque Award at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. His wife, Blake Lively, put to words all the love she has for the awardee. She stated how her husband contributed to the entertainment industry and commended his amazing work ethic and his love for the craft.

Above everything else, “The Age of Adaline” praised Reynolds as the man of their growing family. Most of the time, he would “race home” even if it means arriving with prosthetics and costumes from the movie set.

“He is able to somehow be everything to everyone, all at once. He is the most present person you will ever meet. Yes, he creates magic in his work but man, oh man, does he create magic in his real life,” Lively stated per PEOPLE.
