Sacha Baron Cohen Responds To Rebel Wilson Calling Him A Massive “A–hole”

Sacha Baron Cohen is not keeping mute on the “A–hole” name his “The Brother’s Grimsby” co-star Rebel Willson called him in her upcoming memoir “Rebel Rising.”

In case you’re wondering how Cohen became the“A–hole,” it all started with Wilson’s March 15 Instagram post in which she promoted her upcoming book.

In the post, Wilson shared with her followers how it was for her when she “first came to Hollywood.” She said, “People were like, ‘Yeah, I have a no-a–holes policy that means, like, I don’t work with a–holes.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I mean, that sounds sensible, logical.’”

She went on to add, “But then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that, older people in the industry. Because I worked with a massive a–hole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a no-a–holes policy chapter on said a–hole. It is chapter 23. That guy was a massive a–hole.”

Wilson didn’t mention the actor she referred to in her post but, in a March 24 Instagram post, the ” Pitch Perfect” actress called Cohen out as the person she wrote about in her book. “I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The ‘a–hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen.”

The actress went on to share that Cohen “threatened” her with his lawyers, “Now the a–hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book.”

Sacha Baron Cohen — How Cohen Reacted To The Callout

On Monday, March 25, a spokesperson for the ” Borat” actor, 52, said in a statement, “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.”

This is not the first time the 44-year-old actress has expressed her displeasure working with Cohen. During an interview with the “Kyle & Jackie O” radio show, Wilson detailed how Cohen kept harassing her on set of “The Brothers Grimsby.” Wilson said, “Every single day he’s like, ‘Rebel, can you just go naked in this scene?’ And I’m like, ‘No!’”

She continued, “Every day he’s like, ‘Just go naked, it will be funny. Remember in ‘Borat’ when I did that naked scene? It was hilarious.’ On the last day I thought I’d obviously won the argument and he got a body double to do the naked scene.

Then in the last scene … he was like, ‘Rebel, can you just stick your finger up my butt?’ And I went, ‘What do you mean Sacha? That’s not in the script.’ And he’s like, ‘Look, I’ll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it’ll be a really funny bit.’”
