You heard right. They’ve reconciled and as it stands, they can’t seem to get enough of each other, isn’t that great?.

Sandra Bullock — Bullock Recalls Getting Calls From The Principal

The “Oceans 8” actress and “Magic Mike” actor both had an interview on Tuesday, in a lie detector test with Vanity Fair. There, Tatum, 42, shared that his daughter Everly, 9, and Bullock’s daughter Laila, 10, are now at peace with each other.

It happened that the two kids attend the same school and have always tried to outdo each other by tearing at “each other’s throat.” Bullock, 57, shared that she and her fellow actor were frequently called upon to the principal’s office for the sake of their children.

“Channing and I were always getting called by the principal of our school because our daughters were at each other’s throats. It’s not the case anymore, but like one of them was trying to outdo the other one and take the other one down. It was hilarious.” Said Bullock before adding “We were always praying it was the other one’s daughter when we were called into the office.”

When asked if they both met each other for the first time at the principal’s Office, Tatum, said, “We didn’t meet there, but we definitely had probably one of our more connective conversations there. Our daughters got into a couple scraps at school because they’re both very, very, very strong-willed little girls. It was a very fun year that year.”

When asked if the two girls “still have beef,” Tatum said, “They love each other now, literally can’t get enough of each other,” he replied. “They just want to hang out all the time.” Just then, the polygraph administrator beeped, announcing that Tatum was “telling the truth.”

Sandra Bullock — How The Kids Squashed Their Beef

Speaking of how the kids were able to put aside their issues with each other and become friends, Bullock shared that after the kids had their last altercation, they were given a task of who would be kinder to the other. “The challenge was, ‘Who could be the nicest to the other one?’ So they were bringing each other Dixie cups of water.”

Bullock also revealed that filming “The Lost City” also helped pave the way for Laila and Everly’s relationship.

“They’re both equally suited and they were both as strong but now we had a month for them to be quarantined while we were filming and it was a love fest,” said Bullock. “Just sleepovers, everyone in my bed. It was everyone, not Channing. Just the kids. Channing got the night off, he was off with his buddies.”

She added, “That’s the reason we did this film — so they could have one long, COVID-safe playdate.”
