Breaking News: Rapper P Diddy Arrested In New York City

According to new reports, P Diddy was arrested by the FBI. The arrest took place at a hotel lobby in Manhattan. As of press time, it’s been reported that Combs is in custody with the FBI and that federal officers are searching his hotel and his home.

The music mogul, who is known for producing some of the biggest hits in music history like  “I’ll Be Missing You” and “Mo Money Mo Problems,” has faced mounting scrutiny ever since he was slapped with a lawsuit by his former girlfriend, Cassie, back in 2023.

She had accused him of sex trafficking and years of abuse, which Combs has denied on his end.

What’s Next For Sean Combs?

Combs’ legal team released a statement that said they were disappointed with the decision to prosecute him even though he’s been in cooperation with authorities.

That, and Combs had “voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”

The statement also said, “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.”

“He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal.”

“Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Back in March, it was also reported that federal agents had raided the rapper’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami. He was even stopped at a Miami-area airport where his electronic devices were confiscated.

So far Sean Combs’s team has made no additional comments about the matter.
