Welcome, Celeb Summer Showdown 2022. In one virtual boxing ring corner, Kim Kardashian proudly boasts about her tummy-tightening procedure and low body fat count. And in the other, Selena Gomez flaunts her fabulously real stomach. But did Selena just subtly shade Kim in the process?

Via her Instagram, Kim shared details on how she got her impressively tight tummy. Turning to Instagram Stories, the Kardashians star posted pics as well, noted People magazine. But her tummy looked painfully red. However, Kim insisted the results made the pain worth it! 

And Kardashian even shared her body fat count with her followers. Admiring herself, Kim called the tummy-tightening procedure a “game changer.” As a result, Kim declared the “painful” procedure “worth it!”

But some fans think Kardashian underwent additional procedures. For instance, her famous recent t-shirt pic got critics speculating about liposuction. However, thus far, Kim admits only to non-invasive lasers. But Twitter went wild with theories about that noticeably whittled waistline.

Selena Gomez’s – Fans Cheer For Her Natural Look

But on TikTok, Selena Gomez attracted fans loving her natural look. And in what some interpreted as subtle shade, the songstress vowed to bring back real stomachs, reported Page Six. In her video, Selena wore a swimsuit and rejected orders to suck in her stomach.

“I’m not sucking s—t in,” retorted the 30-year-old singer and actress. “Real stomachs is coming the f—k back, OK?” And fans cheered for her relaxed approach to her body. For instance, one responded, “You make me feel comfortable in my own skin 🥺.” And another named Gomez the “best role model.” In addition, one fan summed up Selena’s message as “BODY POSITIVITY! SO REFRESHING!”

However, that positive approach came only after Selena took a four-year mental health break from social media. And since then, Gomez has sought to encourage positive body image. For example, in April, the singer slammed body-shaming. And she asserted that she views herself as perfect the way she is. But don’t ask Selena about her love life. In the wake of splitting from Justin Bieber, Selena has stayed silent about dating.
