Can songstress Selena Gomez ever completely banish her link to pop star Justin Bieber? Maybe not. But Selena took a swing at doing just that on a bowling date with her new boyfriend. And just like that, Gomez and Drew Taggart went from a rumored romance to pics of their flirty outing via Page Six.

However, some excited fans caused a slight delay during the 30-year-old actress/singer’s date. But despite the thrilled young girls pleading for pics from their idol, Selena and the Chainsmokers member, 33, managed to canoodle at a New York City bowling alley. And an observer described the scene.

Apparently staring at the superstar couple, the eyewitness described Gomez and Taggart enthusiastically “making out” at the bowling alley The Gutter. And even “a group of young girls that went up for pictures from her shortly after and a man getting an autograph” didn’t prevent their lip-locking love, according to the observer. But the two dressed casually for their athletic date. For instance, Selena opted for sweatpants and a sweatshirt. And Drew chose a simple shirt and pants.

But although Selena and Drew tried to dress to avoid standing out, Taggart couldn’t resist smiling throughout his date with Gomez. And though their reps didn’t comment, all signs point to a winning score for both the songstress and the Chainsmokers member. However, an insider shared that the two want to stay “very casual and low-key” for now.

And so far, Selena and Drew seem to enjoy “a lot of fun together. They aren’t trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members-only clubs,” added an insider. And as their recent date revealed, the musical couple enjoy simple dates. For instance, outings have included bowling and the movies. 

But the source added that Selena seems “so affectionate” with Drew. And according to observers, the songstress “can hardly keep her hands off him.” However, while Taggart enjoys his new romance, his ex-girlfriend, Eve Jobs, reportedly went dark on social media. And she allegedly even shut down her Instagram.

Both the songstress and her new boyfriend reportedly hope to take their romance to the next step. And they definitely don’t lack for romantic histories. For instance, Drew previously romanced models Haley Rowe, Meredith Mickelson, and Chantel Jeffries. And in addition to Justin Bieber, Gomez famously dated, then split from The Weeknd.
