Selena Gomez Is Back On Instagram To Promote Her Cooking Show

Selena Gomez is back on social media, and yeah, it’s ironic that it came a day after she announced that she’s quitting the whole thing for a while to focus “on what really matters.”

She made this announcement on Tuesday, and on Wednesday she shared an Instagram post to promote a collaborative cooking video with chef Gordon Ramsay.

“@gordongram stepped into my kitchen and showed me how to make an amazing Breakfast Burger,” Gomez, 31, captioned the 14-minute long video that saw Ramsay, 57, teach her how to cook and assemble the ingredients for a breakfast burger, from scrambled eggs to turkey bacon and more.

Fans would no doubt enjoy the collaborative video from the Selena+Chef star, who is not afraid to do good work in the kitchen.

Gomez has frequently taken a break on social media over the years, most recently late last year when she announced that the violence and hurt in the world is bringing her down.

“People being tortured and killed or any act of hate towards any one group is horrific,” she wrote at the time, going on to proclaim that “ALL people” need to be protected, “especially children,” and that “violence needs to be stopped for good.”

“I’m sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag,” she continued. “I just can’t stand by innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t.”

Apart from the occasional breaks from social media, Selena Gomez is happily in a relationship with producer and musician Benny Blanco.

The two officially confirmed their romance December last year, and during Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, they released their first official PDA photo. That’s something we will not be taking a break from anytime soon.
