Instagram followers of Selena Gomez reacted with shock at her recent actions. And the singer’s fans gossiped about the reason for her unfollowing several celebrities on the social media platform.
For instance, the “Lose You to Love Me” songstress cut off Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik from her following list on Instagram. And many of her 424 million followers rushed to social media to speculate about the meaning, noted Page Six.
In addition to Gigi and Zayn, Selena removed Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa from her Instagram following list. And her fans came up with several theories about the 30-year-old singer’s reason. For example, some thought that Gomez took the actions amid problems in her rumored romance with Malik, 30. Previously this year, rumors soared that Selena and Zayn had begun dating. Observers noticed the two canoodling during a date night in New York City in the spring.

However, the singer recently proclaimed herself as single. As a result, some fans thought that she unfollowed Zayn as well as Gigi over the end of the romance. Malik and his ex girlfriend Gigi, 28, co-parent their 2-year-old daughter Khai. And some fans speculated that Selena unfollowed Gigi’s sister Bella as part of her romance ending. But Gomez has become known for her feuds on social media and real life.

And it showed Dua as friends with both Gigi and Bella. That may explain why Selena unfollowed the trio. And the map also showed Gomez as having dated Zayn.
