Selena Gomez has been in the spotlight from a very young age. At the age of 9, the actress found her first gig as a regular on the popular kids show ‘Barney & Friends.’ Her first major gig after that was as a lead character on the popular Disney show, ‘Wizards of Waverly Places.’

She also starred in other roles while she worked with Disney on the show, including ‘Princess Protection Program,’ which she co-starred in with Demi Lovato.

From there, Selena ventured into the world of music with her band Selena Gomez & The Scene. A few albums later, Selena decided to go solo with her music career, releasing hits like “Rare,” “Lose You to Love Me,” and her most recent, “Single Soon.”

Apart from her acting and singing career, Selena has lended her voice talent to animated movies, like the ‘Hotel Transylvania’ franchise.

However, Selena continued to push herself and the boundaries of her creativity, launching the popular cooking show, ‘Selena + Chef.’ In 2019, she launched the makeup and lifestyle company, ‘Rare,’ which grew exponentially thanks to her fanbase and the brand’s message.

In 2024, her net worth was reported to be around $1.3 billion, with Bloomberg sharing that the “wealth analysis [of Selena Gomez] took into account the estimated value of her stake in Rare Beauty, her interest in Wondermind, the estimated value of her music album sales and properties, and earnings from streaming deals, brand partnerships, concert tickets and acting.”

Selena Gomez is also a producer and has explored singing in Latin. She’s currently in a relationship with fellow musician Benny Blanco, and she’s looking forward to starring in more movies and shows in the future.
