Seth Rogan Says That Tom Cruise Once Tried To Recruit Him To Scientology

Things could have worked out a little bit differently for him. Hollywood actor Seth Rogen admits that he is so thankful that he “dodged a bullet” when fellow actor Tom Cruise tried to recruit him to join his Church of Scientology. Here’s what you need to know.

In a resurfaced interview with Howard Stern that took place back in 2021, Seth said, “He said, ‘If you let me just tell you what it was really about … If you let me — just give me like, 20 minutes to like, really just tell you what it was about, you would say, No f–king way! No f–king way!’ I remember being like, the wording was like, is that a good thing to be saying?”

Seth said that both he and director Judd Apatow were there together during their meeting with Tom. He said that there was a “loaded” moment in which they both looked at each other and couldn’t believe that someone like Tom was trying to convert them. “I don’t know if I am — I’m generally a weak-willed, weak-minded person — I would assume on the grand scale of people. If they got him, what chance do I have?” Rogen continued. “Thank God Judd was like, ‘I think we’re good, let’s just talk about movies and stuff.’ Woof. Dodged that bullet.”

What’s Next For Tom Cruise?

Of course, many critics have commented on the matter with, “It would be difficult for Crusie to one day wake up and realize he’s been bilked for probably millions of dollars and fed lies, especially since Scientology is notorious for collecting personal information on their followers which can later be used against them. L.Ron Hubbard was a science fiction,” along with,

“Rogen WISHES he had enough clout and money to be recruited by Cruise for Scientology. No one is recruiting the hateful, unfunny, sloppy Rogen for anything except dog catcher. Good thing the equally unfunny dude that casts him in every movie he makes likes him.”
