Sharon Osbourne – Claims ‘The Talk’ Have Been Losing Money For Years
The Osbourne’s have been getting real about their career ups and downs, from the oldest, Ozzy Osbourne, 75, to Jack, 38 on their family podcast.
On the May 21 episode of their podcast, ‘The Osbournes,’ the family touched on the “worst, stupidest, most dumb thing” they have said publicly.
When Kelly, 39, recalled her blunder on ‘The View,’ her brother jumped in to remark, “Speaking of shows such as The View, the f—ing Talk’s got canceled. That didn’t take long.”
Even though Osbourne joined the show as one of the original panelists and stayed on for years, she did not bite back her criticism of it, as she admitted that “[its cancellation] took longer than I thought.”
She added: “Even though they were losing money on it, ‘cause the advertising was down because they were losing viewers, they were propping it up.”
Sharon, along with her son Jack, expressed their remorse for the crew that lost their jobs as a result, but found solace in the fact that the network gave the panelists a heads up to search for other jobs prior to the cancellation.
“It was a good memory mostly,” Ozzy, 75, said of his wife’s time on the show, with Sharon agreeing that it was especially good during the earlier days.
“There were some good women on iit. Very good women,” Sharon praised her co-hosts, giving a shout-out to Eve, Aisha Tyler and creator Gilbert, who she boldly described as ” “funny as f—.”
Sharon Osbourne’s exit from the show came after she defended Piers Morgan for saying he didn’t believe Meghan Markle had a mental breakdown and couldn’t get help.
Osbourne later clarified that she didn’t agree with everything Morgan said, but was standing up for a friend at the time.
