Sherri Shepherd – Promises More Laughs In Renewed Talk Show
Shepherd’s talk show is here to stay, at least until 2025. The show just got a greenlight for two more seasons that will cover 2024-2025 television season.
“I am so thrilled that Sherri has been renewed for two more years,” she said in a statement. “I launched this show with the mission to give daytime viewers a ‘good time,’ just like my theme song says.”
Shepherd added, “I am so appreciative that Fox and Debmar-Mercury have partnered with me to continue bringing more laughter, joy and inspiration to my audience.”

Shepherd’s statement is not the only announcement confirming the deal, as the syndication company also put out a statement congratulating Shepherd. This basically means that everyone involved in this deal is excited about what lies ahead.
“We initially sold Sherri for one year based on our strong belief that this extraordinarily talented host would be successful and her show would become a long-term talk franchise,” Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus said. “Our thanks go to our good friends and longtime partners at FOX, who shared in our enthusiasm and have renewed their faith in Sherri with this long-term commitment.”
You could almost say that “Sherri” is a spinoff of “The Wendy Williams Show”, because the idea to have Sherri Shepherd stand on her own came when she took over for Williams and aced it.
“Sherri” took the time slot of Williams’ long-running daytime show when it came to a close.
