Before Shia came out to talk about the allegations by Twigs in an interview with Real One’s Podcast on Friday, August 26, Shia made mention, or do I say, make reference to the allegations on the email Shia forward to Variety that contains the message Shia sent to Olivia Wilde. In the message Shia said, “My failings with Twigs are fundamental and real, but they are not the narrative that has been presented. There is a time and a place to deal with such things, and I am trying to navigate a nuanced situation with respect for her and the truth, hence my silence.”
During Shia’s interview, Shia admitted to hurting Twigs and several other people too, in fact, Shia said all his life he has been hurting people, he listed a number of people he has hurt, apologized for his behavior, and said that henceforth he wants to live an exemplary life. “My purpose, and I mean this with every fibre of my being, is to be instructive with my life, so that I can be an advertisement, like a billboard, for a principled way of living.”
Shia LaBeouf — About Being Fired From Olivia Wilde’s Movie
Olivia Wilde publicly revealed on Wednesday, August 24, in Variety Cover Story the reason Shia LaBeouf was no longer featured in the movie “Don’t Worry Darling” which Olivia was the director, was because Shia was fired. While giving more details regarding why Shia was let go, Olivia said that Shia’s method of acting was “combative” and it doesn’t fit to the style she wants, she also added that she wanted to create a safe environment because she believes that a safe environment would make the workers including the producers which she is responsible for to bring out their best.
Olivia said, “…He has a process that, in some ways, seems to require a combative energy, and I don’t personally believe that is conducive to the best performances. I believe that creating a safe, trusting environment is the best way to get people to do their best work. Ultimately, my responsibility is to the production and to the cast to protect them. That was my job.”

Shia went on to say that he reached out to Olivia several months back to reconcile over their “failed collaboration”
Diving into what brought about him writing to Olivia, Shia said he heard Olivia say that he was fired meanwhile both he and Olivia knew that he left on his own, and it was because the rehearsal time for the actors was not enough “…You and I both know the reasons for my exit.
