Sophie Turner’s Reason For Turning Down Kendall Jenner’s Invitation

There’s no doubt that Kendall Jenner is a beauty, no wonder Sophie Turner turned down her  invitation, Sophie was “stars struck!.” 

Sophie was invited to a “low-key” Met Gala party by none other than Kendall Jenner, the “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” star admitted she turned down Kendall Jenner’s invitation because she is too big a fan of the model and her famous family. 

Sophie told Jimmy Fallon in an interview that aired on May 6 that, she was too starstruck by Kendall Jenner to accept the model’s Met Gala afterparty invitation.

“She was at the Met and I love the Kardashians but I think she’s like she’s so gorgeous in real life,” Sophie said, adding that she was so “struck by her beauty” that she immediately turned her down. “She went like, ‘Do you want to come?’ And I just went, ‘No. No, I don’t,'” Sophie said. “And I’m like, ‘Why do I do this to myself?” Instead, Turner spent the rest of the night in bed eating pasta. “It wasn’t bad.” Honestly, sounds idyllic.

The  “Game Of Thrones” star said she went home to sit in bed and eat pasta instead. “I was like, ‘Could be somewhere else right now, but I’m not,’” she added.

Sophie explained that to avoid saying anything “stupid” to celebrities she respects, she has formed the unfortunate habit of shutting them down completely.

“I’m really bad around celebrities, like, I just can’t I can’t quite fathom that I’m actually invited to these things and I’m not like a competition winner,” Turner told Fallon regarding her recent appearance at the 2022 Met Gala. “Every celebrity I come into contact with, I act up or say something stupid and recently it’s been if a celebrity interacts with me, I immediately just shut them down. And I’m like, I don’t want anything to do with you.” Secretly, though, she’s internally screaming.

Sophie Turner – About The Moment She Fell For Her Husband Joe Jonas

Sophie told Kimmel about the moment she knew she was going to marry the musician Joe Jonas.

According to Sophie, who jokingly blamed her reaction on “the alcohol,” the pair were hanging out with a group of friends at a bar before heading back to her apartment for drinks. “I remember him leaving and I just, like, weeped,” she told Fallon. “I wept to my brother. I was like, I love this man so much. And I knew. That was it.”

Luckily, the balance was restored during their first date when Jonas asked Sophie which celebrities she gets told she looks like. “He goes well, I get young George Clooney all the time,” she shared, with an eye roll. “And I was like, ‘No you don’t.’”
