Taylor Swift Leaves Golden Globes Early
The 2024 Golden Globes saw Taylor Swift lose the new award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement to the Barbie movie.
And soon after her loss, Taylor Swift’s fans observed that the songstress no longer sat with Keleigh Sperry, who went with Taylor to the event, per Page Six.
For instance, one fan shared on social media, “I think Taylor left. I don’t see her in the audience anymore.” And another questioned, “Taylor actually left? She’s so funny.”
However, Swift, 34, did not immediately leave after the award winner news. And the songstress, 34, stood and gave the Barbie cast and crew a standing ovation as they accepted the award. But soon after, she reportedly exited the show. And Taylor’s decision to leave early came after a diss from the Golden Globes host.
Golden Globes Host Disses Taylor Swift
Joy Koy hosted the 2024 Golden Globes. And his joke about Taylor Swift amid the opening of the show fell flat. Koy attempted to mock the attention that the NFL gives the pop singer when she goes to her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football games, per Fox News.

“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL – on the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” joked Koy. “I swear, there’s just more to go to.” And the camera showed Swift looking unimpressed as she sipped her drink.
On a break from her tour, Taylor sat with Miles Teller’s wife Keleigh and her friend Emma Stone. And Swift cheered as Emma won the Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture. But Taylor also brightened as she reunited with her best friend Selena Gomez. However, Swift’s boyfriend Kelce did not attend.

Gomez and Swift enjoy a long friendship. And the two pop music princesses first became acquainted when they each dated a Jonas brother in 2008. Swift became involved with Joe Jonas. And Selena dated Nick Jonas, per People.
But while their respective romances ended, Taylor’s and Selena’s friendship blossomed. And the two singers have cheered for each other at award shows, posed on the red carpet, and also worked together. For instance, Selena hopped on stage with Taylor amid some of her tours. And Gomez even appeared in the singer’s “Bad Blood” music video.

Sick of hearing about Taylor Swift…enough already!
Jo Choy was NOT funny about anything Taylor Swift was the least of his worries . I know he’s supposed to be funny, however he wasn’t and don’t try to throw back on Taylor He was unprepared , and disorganized sorry I’m not a fan And why was he chosen just two weeks ahead???
He was the worst presenter they’ve ever had!

He’s a comedian and she’s a huge star that’s getting a lot of attention (and will continue until she fizzles out-if she does) Sad but true, the NFL is using her relationship to push attendance and attention to the games. The joke was about the NFL not her. Stop being so sensitive Taylor. He wasn’t mocking you or your relationship! Get over it !!

First, thank you for leaving politics comments out of awards shows. But the racist remarks are tired. Feel the awards shows are focused entirely too much on skin color and not talent. Who comes up with the Host choices? Maybe that committee needs to be replaced.

I did not find anything the host said funny. His remarks and his presentation was horrible to say the least.
Jo Koy fell flat on his whole monologue! Not one of his so-called jokes was the least bit funny let alone humorous. Hopefully, they will do better next year and ask a much better comedian to host.
