Taylor Swift Survives First Fight With Travis Kelce
Thus far, Travis Kelce’s and Taylor Swift’s romance seemed to go as smoothly and sweetly as a Hallmark movie romance.
But then the Chiefs’ Christmas Day loss caused Kelce and Swift’s first fight. And he “snapped” at the songstress, a source told Life & Style.
However, Travis also shared his disappointment in an episode of his New Heights podcast. And he called it the “f**king worst” to his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. But Kelce admitted about the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders that he definitely experienced “better” games.

However, the NFL tight end, 34, tried to put a positive spin on the holidays by describing his enjoyment of “good Christmas cheer and good people.” But an insider shared that Travis’ bad mood impacted the holidays. And it caused his first fight with Taylor, 34, after five months together as a couple.
Taylor Swift Faces New Romance Reality
However, the insider shared that what Swift first viewed as a fairy-tale romance has just experienced some reality checks. For instance, Taylor now realizes that dating a high profile athlete comes with challenges. But the source pointed out, “This is all very new for Taylor.”
However, the songstress received help from her new friend Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Travis’ QB, Patrick Mahomes. And “Brittany told Taylor to let Travis lick his wounds,” said the source. “But it wasn’t easy.”

And the singer became especially anxious prior to Travis’ New Year’s Day game. “The idea of Travis losing again and having it ruin their New Year’s was so stressful,” said the source. But other issues have made the relationship tense as well.
For example, Travis and Taylor both have flown to keep their relationship together. And although Travis flew to see Taylor at her New York City home and watch her mid-November performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Taylor racked up the most frequent-flyer miles.
A Family Feud Brews
As a result, the situation has begun “to take a toll on her. She’s the one bending over backward and people are urging her to start focusing on herself more. They’re clashing over work commitments, too. Over the holiday, all Travis wanted to do was focus on football,” said the source.
And Taylor needed to “take a backseat.” That made her tearful, shared the source, “which was really tough. When it comes down to it, the game is still his No. 1 priority and that became crystal clear for Taylor.”
But both value their careers. And the insider shared, “Things get heated between them at times over scheduling because they’re both so incredibly busy and they’re both so dedicated to their careers. As much as Taylor can be a fool for love, she never lets her work suffer.”
Adding to the stress, a family feud has arisen. And the source shared, “Taylor hasn’t had the best reception from Jason and his wife. Kylie Kelce threw shade at the singer when she described fame as not her ‘cup of tea’.” And the insider revealed, “Taylor took that personally and since then it’s been very awkward.”
