Taylor Swift Fans Lash Out At Travis Kelce’s Mom For This “Rude” Remark

Okay, I think this Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce relationship is getting sour for the Swifties just as quickly as it turned sweet.
Just months after Swift ended things with Matty Healy following his weird comments on Ice Spice – who Swift collaborated with on her hit single “Karma” – rumors started spilling that she’s now dating football star Travis Kelce.
Swifties Accuse Travis Kelce’s Mom Of Not Appreciating the Musician Enough
Donna Kelce – mom to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis and Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman – appeared on the TODAY show to talk about the game, and of course the topic on everyone’s mind, Taylor Swift!
When asked about her experience sitting next to Taylor Swift at a Kansas City game she said, “It was OK, ” adding, “I’ll talk about my life and when the kids were little and I was with them, but they’re men now. They’ve got their own lives and there isn’t a man alive that’s going to talk to their mom about their personal life. It’s just not gonna happen.”
“It’s fairly new, so I don’t like to talk about it,” she said. “It’s just one of those things where you know, obviously everybody saw me. I was in the boxes with her and it’s just another thing that’s amped up my life.
While nothing was wrong with Donna’s reply, Swifties read into her body language when she said “OK” and concluded she was consciously being rude.
A fan said, “She does feel a little stand-offish but I really think it’s bc she was told not to say anything about it. Also I’m sure it’s very overwhelming for her like she’s just a normal person.”
Another added that she might just be an overprotective mom, writing, “It’s the way she said ‘okay.’ Sounds like she is not impressed with Taylor. She could also be one of those mothers that is too clingy to her sons. God help Taylor if that’s the case. She’ll never win that battle.”
Another fan almost took the offense personally, writing, “Not a great answer…Donna sounds annoyed by Taylor.
She could have tried a bit harder. If I am Taylor I won’t be in the same box again. Before Taylor, Donna has been open to many other things with her sons that amped up her life.”
Another social media user lashed out, “If you don’t want to talk about it, then don’t. She comes off as kind of rude and flippant.”

Ouch. Mama Kelce’s reaction was far from positive. She hesitated, emphasized “Ok” and then rolled her eyes. If body language could talk, she screamed, “I don’t get what all the fuss is about.”
Her son is also famous. That’s her baby.What was she supposed to be, star struck? She’s probably met many famous people already. She knows they were only asking her on because they are together this second. I wouldn’t give them anything either.
My gosh, Lay off Kelce’s mom. I’m sure she’s living her own life happily on her terms. I’m betting she doesn’t give a rats a– regarding public opinion. I love that Kelce and Swift are beginning a new courtship and I wish them both all of the very best!
Why was Donna asked to be on the Today Show in the first place? It’s because of the Taylor attention, so why her refusal to even say “it was nice to meet her. She’s very sweet”? And then move on. But just “OK”?? That was rude.
