Garth Brooks asked him to perform at the opening of his new bar, Friends In Low Places and Honky Tonk in Nashville, Tennessee. The bar will have a grand opening on March 7. Garth wants Travis to perform the song “Friends In Low Places.”

The country musician watched the Kansas City Chiefs’ parade where they celebrated their Super Bowl LVII win. He heard Travis perform his hit song. Garth knew he wanted the tight end to perform at the grand opening of his bar.

“Did you guys see Travis Kelce’s version of ‘Friends in Low Places?’ Did you see him sing this? I loved it, I thought it was fantastic,” Garth Brooks said on his podcast Inside Studio G. “It blew me away because I’m sitting there watching it as it’s going down, right. I never expected that.”

Garth even offered a private jet to Travis Kelce, if he took him on his offer. He also extended an invitation to Taylor Swift.

Travis’ performance of “Friends In Low Places” at the Kansas City Chiefs parade caught controversy because he was also drunk. He was so drunk that he was slurring his words and reading the lyrics off his phone.

Will Travis Kelce Drop Country Album?

There are rumors that Travis Kelce could release a country music album. He might want to consider a new career after ending the NFL season on a high note.

It’d be no surprise that his girlfriend would inspire him to start a new career outside of football. Life as a musician would be less risky than life as a football player.

The NFL star previously expressed his love of country music before. He attended the 2023 CMT Awards. It would be interesting to see whether Travis will cash in on his fame and pursue something different.
