Taylor Swift is a Queen that knows how to make good use of her assets and her 3-hour long concert is more than just a goldmine.

The Eras Tour Film To Include Five New Songs When It Streams On Disney+

According to an anonymous source speaking to Puck News, singer-songwriter and businesswoman Taylor Swift has received a whooping $75 million from Disney+ so that her concert film can stream exclusively on the platform.

The report stated that Disney+ won the exclusive rights in a bidding war that involved Netflix and Universal Pictures (which handled digital/VOD distribution for the film).

When Disney was contacted to comment on the deal, the entertainment giant declined to do so.

The streaming version of The Eras Tour film will include five songs that didn’t make it into the version that launched in theaters.

The “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” grossed $261.7 million at the global box office – surpassing Justin Bieber’s One World Tour to become the highest grossing concert film to date.

The concert film included footage from the first three L.A. shows of the Eras tour from Aug. 3-5, 2023. Even though the film lasted for an impressive 2 hours and 45 minutes, it omitted a lot of songs that made it into the stage performances.

However, the streaming version has expanded to include some of these omitted songs and on March 15, fans can get to stream it on Disney+.
