He didn’t get her to support him or vote for him, but that doesn’t seem to matter. Of course, we are talking about Donald Trump as it seems like the new President-Elect has gotten the last laugh with Taylor Swift. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Donald Trump Gets His Last Laugh With Taylor Swift
Apparently, Donald Trump now has more of an influence than chart topper Taylor Swift.
That’s because Donald Trump has surpassed Taylor Swift on X (formerly known as Twitter) with 94.7M followers, becoming the 8th most followed person on the platform. That is certainly a huge accomplishment for a man who was banned from X not too long ago.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some fans and critics from both sides of the aisle commented with, “The media won’t tell you, and woke liberals are clueless: Trump’s roaring comeback is driven by everyday Americans fed up with soaring bills, not obsessed about a dozen genders or the right to a transgender bathroom.”
What’s Next For Donald Trump And His Administration?
Another critic wrote, “Ah, what a cosmic twist in the ever-unfolding saga of influence, don’t you see? Donald Trump, the man who redefined modern communication with 280 characters and a tidal wave of truth bombs, has now overtaken Taylor Swift, the queen of pop and poetic heartbreaks, on X.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I believe it also has much to do w/ many leaving X bc of Elon and moving accounts to Bluesky. Taylor Swift had a large democratic following. Not sure about everyone else but I have lost thousands of followers in the last couple of weeks alone.”
So far Donald Trump himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet although there’s no doubt that he’ll have something to say about it sooner rather than later.
