The couple first made their debut in September 2023 when Taylor attended Travis’ first game of the season. She’s been following him at his games ever since. Travis returned the favor by showing up to one of the concerts on her Eras Tour.

An insider told Page Six that Taylor and Travis want to get engaged by the summer. They like the idea of doing it around their one-year anniversary.

Travis didn’t want to pop the question during the holiday season. He felt that it would’ve led to “rushed insanity.” The couple also feels that Valentine’s Day is too soon for an engagement. However, Travis admitted on his podcast that he feels pressure to wow her on the special day.

“Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan,” the insider told Page Six. “They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.”

Prior to this public relationship, Taylor Swift was in a high-profile relationship with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy. In that same year, she ended her six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn. Travis was previously linked to Access Hollywood reporter Zuri Hall in 2022.

Taylor Swift wants Hollywood to embrace Travis Kelce. Not only does she have big plans to lock him down for life, but she also wants him to become a famous actor. He is reportedly being mentored by her best friend Ryan Reynolds.

It’s no secret that Taylor wants a Hollywood career as well. She dipped a toe in acting and producing. An insider told The U.S. Sun that she wants her boyfriend to become a Hollywood staple as well. The two have been influenced by Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively.

“The big change in 2023 was the studios taking Taylor seriously as more than just a pop star, and the relationship is a big part of that,” the insider told the outlet. “It’s not for me to say if it’s all for show, but it has clearly been mutually beneficial for them, and it’s also not hard to see where Travis can slot into all this once his football career is over.”

Taylor Swift can see Travis having an acting career similar to The Rock or John Cena. They could become the next power couple. Even if their relationship doesn’t make it to the altar, Traivs plans to milk this fame.
