That 70’s Show star Danny Masterson went to court January 24th to plead with a judge for bail. Masterson’s bail was denied and it’s not looking good for the actor.

It wasn’t long before the “Me Too” Movement caught up with Danny Masterson, the actor was accused of raping three different women during the time That 70’s Show was airing, the incidents occurred between 2000-2003.
Danny Masterson Facing Life Behind Bars
After the women went public, Danny Masterson was promptly fired by Netflix and booted off his wildly popular new show The Ranch.
Then the actor was officially charged with the crimes and went before a judge. In May 2023, Masterson was convicted and sentenced by a California judge to 30 years – life in prison for the rapes.
Since his sentencing, the actor has hired a new team of lawyers and they submitted an appeal earlier this month and a request for bail on Masterson’s behalf. This week the actor went to court and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo shot down his bail request and went on to say that the odds of Masterson ever seeing the light of the day outside of a prison cell are slim to none.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo stated, “In light of the fact that defendant has no wife to go home to, defendant now has every incentive to flee and little reason to return to state prison to serve out the remainder of his lengthy sentence should his appeal be unsuccessful.”
