‘The Hills’ Star Audrina Patridge Mourns Niece’s Death At 15

Losing a loved one always means heartbreak and mourning. But for The Hills star Audrina Patridge, the loss of her niece at just 15 years old also involves shock. And Audrina turned to Instagram to pour out her emotions.

The Hills – Star Audrina Patridge’s Niece Dies At 15

Audrina Patridge shared with her social media followers how much the death of her niece hurts. And after Sadie passed away at age 15, The Hills star revealed her heartbreak on Instagram. But the 37-year-old also posted photos showing her memories of the teenager, noted Page Six.

“My heart hurts to even write this. My beautiful niece is now in heaven,” wrote Audrina. And she shared 10 slides revealing her joys with Sadie through the years. However, The Hills star added, “I know Its [sic] not goodbye forever. But it is the hardest to say goodbye for now.”

And Patridge noted, “We will miss you and cherish every single moment we had with you. Rest in peace Say Say!! We love you forever & ever! ✨.” The slideshow ranged from family gatherings to pictures of Sadie growing up. And the pics even included one of Audrina’s niece dancing with her aunt at her 2016 wedding to Corey Bohan.

One of the Instagram videos showed Partridge, Sadie and Sadie’s mom, Casey Loza, laughing and smiling together. However, Audrina and her sister did not yet reveal the cause of Sadie’s death. But Loza shared with her Instagram followers that she hopes her daughter’s “story will save countless lives.”

And like Patridge, Loza shared that writing the announcement felt like “the hardest thing I ever have had to do.” But Sadie’s heartbroken mother also reflected on what she learned from the teenager. And Casey noted, “Sadie liked to remind me that the first law of thermodynamics aka (Law of Conservation of Energy) works in all spheres of life. ‘Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.'”

As a result of Sadie’s words, Casey shared, “Transformation is a better word than death. Rest In Peace you brilliant starseed. You’re with your creator. We will miss you dearly. I love you.” 

Sadie died only nine days after celebrating her 15th birthday. And at the time, her mother gushed on Instagram about how much she looked forward to the future. “It feels like the years flew by,” wrote Loza. “And we still have so many more adventures to go on! I’m so proud to be your mom and i cannot wait to see the insane ancient civilization architecture you’re going to construct someday. i love you so so much my sadie raine ❤️.”
