For a family that made a mark and became the biggest Reality TV family, it shouldn’t be a surprise that every member of The Kardashians‘ social media accounts would run in millions of followers.
The best part is that aside from their family TV show, every single one of them has carved out different and successful career paths for themselves in the business industry.
Let’s start with the eldest daughter Kourtney, she has her “Poosh” company which she founded in 2011, she has also gone on to co-found another business “Lemme” supplements in 2021.
Kim on her part has her clothing line “SKIMS,” and her skincare line “SKKN BY KIM.” Khloe has her “Good American” brand, Kendall has her alcohol brand “818 Tequila,” Kylie has her cosmetic brand “Kylie Cosmetics,” her clothing line, “Khy,” and her toddler clothing line “Kyliebaby.”
It will shock you to know that these successful businesswomen who have over 5 million followers on their social media business accounts, rarely get engagements that tally with the amount of followers they all have. Yes, when they make posts, they always get thousands of reactions but the real engagements are low.
The Kardashians — Are The Kardashians Using Bots To Boost Their Social Media Followers?
According to the analysis by “The U.S. Sun,” and “Phalanx Analytics” revealed that each Kardashian’s social media business account engagement level is from 0.02% to 0.15% which is too poor for the millions of followers they have.
Coralee Trigger who is an Emmy Award-winning digital creator who has had the privilege of working with different A-list shows weighed in on the case and shared that the possibility of The Kardashians using fake followers in their social media accounts is very high. Trigger said, “It’s a safe bet that the Kardashians use Botox for their bodies and bots for their brands.”
He continued, “Believing the Kardashian brands on social media have grown without any help from bots is like believing the Kardashians look the way they do without any help from Botox. When celebrities say they’ve never had Botox, what they often mean is, ‘I’ve had work done, but it’s not the brand Botox.’ The same applies when denying using bots to inflate their social media following. If I were a betting person, I’d say the Kardashians use bots for their brand just like they use Botox for their bodies.”
He went on to add, “There are so many ways to artificially inflate social media followings, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the Kardashians are leveraging any number of those methods to enhance their brands. Even though these practices are technically against most social media platform’s terms of use, and I never recommend them to clients, you might be surprised by how many of your favorite brands have employed shady methods to grow large followings.”
