The Rock’s Daughter Deletes X Account Following Death Threats From WrestleMania Fans

The Rock, Dwayne Johnson‘s daughter Ava (Simone Johnson) is currently in the line of fire due to the rumored news that her father will be facing Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 40.

While it’s natural for anyone to express their emotions on the whole thing, some are taking things way too far. Well, Ava’s having none of it.

Ava Responds To Death Threats, Says She Has “Nothing To Do With It”

Ava, who is the general manager of NXT, deleted her X account following news her father will be battling Roman Reigns in an upcoming WrestleMania match.

The virtual riot officially kicked off following Friday’s episode of SmackDown Live. During the segment, we saw Cody Rhodes, the current winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match for the second year in a row, appear to want to challenge Reigns for his title at WrestleMania.

However, he seemingly conceded his spot when he brought out The Rock for a staredown with Reigns that ended the show.

Surprisingly, the reaction to a potential The Rock and Roman Reigns match was immediate and fiery, so much so various media outlets covered the story. Unfortunately, there was a bystander caught in the heat of the backlash. And she’ll very much like to be left out of it.

“Can ya’ll just leave me out of this ffs i’m busy running a SHOW,” Ava wrote on X, adding, “death threats over a situation i have nothing to do with … bffr.”

At the moment, there’s been no official announcement that Dwayne Johnson will be facing off champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, so this backlash may well all be for nought.

The only clue fans have got was PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson’s report that Dwayne Johnson has been booked to perform at the Marquee event, and as a WWE powerhouse, Mike sees no scenario where he doesn’t battle Roman Reigns.
