The View Slams Caitlyn Jenner – Believes Reality Star Is Unfit To Be Governor Of California
As many fans know by now, Caitlyn is a longtime Republican and is hoping to replace current Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom in the recall election. The former Olympian is apparently working with Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale. But according to Joy Behar, she thinks Caitlyn should “take a seat” and let someone with real credentials run a state like California, which happens to have the fifth largest economy in the world.
Sara Haines replied: “I would take a celebrity over MTG, Josh Hawley. Just because you grew up in politics doesn’t make you up for the job anyway.”
CNN host Anna Navarro then said, “I think it’s great we’re having a discussion about LGBT trans rights – a big topic. I think breaking the glass ceiling is a good thing, a trans-Republican may change some Republican minds.”

But not everyone thinks this is a good idea. Sunny Hostin then chimed in with, “I think we’ve had enough of [the] reality stars running for the government we’ve had enough over the past four years. [There’s also] the fact that she was supportive of Trump until her community was attacked and unsupported by her president.”
Caitlyn made a statement last week in which she said she is a “compassionate disruptor” who will campaign on “solutions” and “providing a roadmap back to prosperity” for the state.
“California has been my home for nearly 50 years. I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality. But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision,” she added.
