The Voice: Adam Levine & Blake Shelton – The Truth About Their Bromance

During an interview with PEOPLE that Adam Levine, best known as the lead singer of the multi-award winning band Marron 5, appeared on to promote his latest single with Megan Thee Stallion, he revealed that he and Blake Shelton are always keeping tabs with each other and spending quality time on FaceTime. Wow, I want some of that action.

Adam Levine News – The Bromance Is Thriving

While talking to People (the TV Show!) about his latest collaborative single, Beautiful Mistakes, Adam Levine, 41, couldn’t help updating the world on his friendship with country music star Blake Shelton, 44, after his departure from The Voice almost 3 years ago.

At the time Shelton tweeted the news, “Having a hard time wrapping my head around @adamlevine not being at @NBCTheVoice anymore. After 16 seasons that changed both of our lives. I only found out about this yesterday and it hasn’t set in on me yet. Gonna miss working with that idiot.”

“We keep in touch constantly,” Levine recently told People (the TV Show!) “We’re always keeping tabs with each other – texting or FaceTime or however we can do it.”

Levine reunited with pal Shelton, who is currently coaching his 20th season of The Voice, in person for the first time in nearly two years to appear in a T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial shoot. The commercial portrayed Levine as the man who set Shelton up on a blind date with his now-fiancée Gwen Stefani.

The commercial began with Stefani asking Levine to offer his help. “I think I’m ready to start dating again,” she said. She then goes on to describe what she wants to see in a man. “I’m sick of LA guys,” Stefani continues, “I want someone completely different, maybe from another country and someone cultured and sensitive and not threatened by a strong, confident woman.”

Due to Stefani and Levine’s phones having bad connection, Levine hears, “I’m sick of L.A guys. I want someone completely country, uncultured, and threatened by a strong, confident woman.”

Levine then sets her up with Shelton, which was something she was totally surprised by.

“They asked me to do it, and it was so funny ‘cause I was kinda thinking to myself, ‘Are they aware that I’m not on The Voice anymore?” Levine commented on starring in the commercial, “But the second I saw Blake it was as if no time had passed, because we talk all the time.”

Blake Shelton has also said that Adam Levine’s Marron 5 will perform at his and Gwen’s wedding, “I still say Adam owes me a full-band performance with Marron 5, mostly because I want it to cost him.”

Am I the only one hoping that the constant chatter will lead to a music collaboration between the two friends?
