According to the latest reports, Cynthia Nixon spoke at a rally in support of medical transitioning of children in New York. 

She said in front of the crowd, “I am here today as a mother, of a proud trans man. My best friends kid is trans and my kids best friends are trans.”

As many of our readers are aware of by now, the newly elected President Donald Trump has made it clear that he is against the procedure and also wants to recognize just two genders.

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some critics took to social media to write, “So the fact that everyone around her is trans doesn’t raise any alarm bells that maybe this is a mental health issue? True transgender is 0.1-0.6% of the population. If everyone around you is identifying that way, there’s something else going on IMO.”

Another critic wrote, “Liberals don’t want a healthy child, which is one thing a parent prays for when it’s born. Instead, they want a child they can transition to, not for the child, but for the attention it brings, usually on social media!”

And then there was this comment as well: “It’s no shock that the person who supports Hamas has now moved on to championing transgender children’s causes. If there’s a demonic movement, you can bet Cynthia is involved.”

“What on earth is going wrong that kids are turning trans? Is it parents? Schools? Doctors? Psychologists?”

So far Cynthia herself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet.
