It is cheering news for fans of the golf star, Tiger Woods. He has been given the medical leeway to recuperate from the surgery on his legs from his home. The surgery was done after his car crashed into a ditch in February.

The 45-year-old golf star announced via a post on his Twitter account yesterday, the 16th of March 2021. He said he was feeling better and would continue his recuperation from surgery at his home. He also used the medium to thank his loved ones and fans for their unwavering support and prayers during his time at the hospital. He went to thank all the doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals who took great care of him throughout his stay at the medical centers in Harbor-UCLA and Cedars-Sinai.

Tiger Woods’s statement comes about three weeks after he was involved in a car crash on the 23rd of February, 2020. The incident happened at about 7:12 a.m, along the boundary of Rolling Hills Estate and Ranchos Palos Verdes in California.

Tiger Woods  News – Details Of The Car Crash

At the time it was made known by the Sheriff’s Department of Los Angeles that Tiger Woods was rescued from the car crash by a combination of paramedics and firefighters of Los Angeles County. After which he was taken to a nearby hospital where he was attended to by medical personnel.

It was later made known by the golf star’s manager on the same day that he would be going into surgery to repair several leg injuries he sustained from the crash.

Just hours after Tiger Woods was rushed from the scene of the car crash to the hospital, the sheriff of the Los Angeles County, Alex Villanueva described the incident in better detail during a press gathering. He said that Tiger Woods was the only person in the car and that it was the deployed airbags and the driver’s seatbelt that ensured that the golfing phenomenon is still alive from the deadly car accident.

Tiger Woods was in his home state of California for the annual golfing event he organizes in the Pacific Palisades, the Genesis Invitational. The star who won his first trophy at the 1997 Masters tourney, had just come from Florida.

On the 23rd of February, the 4-time PGA Tour winner announced via Twitter that he was recovering well after undergoing surgery on the lower area and ankle of his left leg.

On the 3rd of March, the deputy sheriff of the Los Angeles County, John Schloegl, also made a statement on his condition. He said the golf star was recuperating in comfort and should be able to go back home on his two feet.

Tiger Woods underwent four back surgeries between 2014 to 2017, with a fifth one in December last year. The star who has been 11-times PGA Player Of The Year is father to two kids, 13-year-old daughter Sam and 12-year-old son, Charlie from his dissolved marriage to his ex, Elin Nordegren.
