TikTok Influencer John Crawley Dies At Age 47

Another popular TikTok influencer has passed away: this time, it’s John Crawley, aka KingBeardX and formerly Pimpmunkx. He was only 47 years old. Read on for more about the sad news that made his over 3 million followers feel so down.

The News Arrived On Social Media

The Sun US reported that the news about the TikTok influencer’s death came from family members. He passed away on August 18, 2025, after being placed in a hospital because of health concerns.

Tonya Palmer wrote on Facebook where a reel was shared:

Roughly 40 minutes ago with family by his side John E Crawley #kingbeardx passed away.. ON BEHALF OF THE FAMILY WE WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT KEPT HIM IN THEIR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS . AND TO ALL HOS FANS AND SUPPORTERS TO HOM EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU WAS LIKE HIS FAMILY AND HE CARED DEEPLY ABOUT YOU ALL.

He had been hospitalized for two weeks due to serious health concerns, which unfortunately included respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. His passing was also confirmed by a friend and podcast co-host, Anthony Caruso.

A Popular & Amusing Person  

John Crawley was well-known for his reaction videos, which made people laugh. He often did reels about food challenges, which seemed remarkably popular with his millions of fans.

Although the TikTok influencer did well on the platform, he wasn’t extremely wealthy and wasn’t on any medical insurance, so a GoFundMe was started to help with medical bills.

On Facebook, people took the opportunity to remember John Crawley. One of them wrote in the comments, “I’m so sorry. I will be praying for Joyce and the family.”
