Tom Brady recently stunned his followers by going from a seemingly happy marriage to a quick divorce from now ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. But since the breakup, the NFL star has sought to make time for his kids. However, now Tom has signaled a desire to return his focus to football.

Tom Brady May Partner With Las Vegas Raiders

ESPN has reported that Tom Brady may soon become a minority owner of an NFL team. And sports experts Seth Wickersham and Adam Schefter revealed that Brady currently has begun talking about taking on a limited partnership of the Las Vegas Raiders.

A Super Bowl champion on seven occasions, the legendary quarterback reportedly hopes to finalize the deal. However, Brady’s investment would not result in any authority or control over the club, according to PopCulture.

Tom Brady In ‘Deep Discussions’ To Partner With Las Vegas Raiders

And in Schefter’s Twitter post on the topic, the sports expert described the NFL legend as “in deep discussions to become a limited partner of the Las Vegas Raiders.” If it goes through, it would mark what Schefter views as Brady’s “second foray into a partnership with Raiders’ owner Mark Davis on a professional sports franchise in less than two months.” The NFL star previously revealed his purchase of a stake in the Las Vegas Aces of the WNBA.

Mark Davis partially owns the Aces and also serves as the majority owner of the Raiders. However, if Davis and Brady come to an agreement about the Raiders, a minimum of 24 current team owners must review and approve the NFL star’s limited partnership. Prior to his discussions with the Raiders, Brady had allegedly expressed interest in becoming an owner of an NFL team.

Twitter Weighs In On Tom Brady’s Potential Deal

And social media followers of Schefter didn’t hesitate to sound off. For instance, one Twitter commentator wrote, “I see Brady’s playing chess not checkers.” But some claimed they didn’t understand why. However, one thought they knew the answer. And the Twitter poster opined, “Football is life.”

But some sought more details. For example, one questioned, “Coach? Owner? Donator? Players???” In response, one Twitter commentator weighed in. “Partner i’m sure. Meaning an investor/minority stake owner.” And another clarified, “Limited partner, investor, part owner etc etc.”

The news about Brady’s discussions with the Raiders comes after he went back and forth on retiring from the NFL. The NFL star initially proclaimed his retirement from the NFL in February. But Brady’s 20 seasons with the New England Patriots and three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers seemed to make him regret that announcement. And soon after the 2021 season, Brady retired from the league, then came back 41 days later. However, if the NFL star does become part of the Raiders’ ownership, he reportedly will not play for the team.
