Tom Brady just stunned Instagram with his biggest social media bombshell yet. And Brady’s followers flooded the Internet with reactions to his cryptic quote about a “lying cheating heart.”

But Tom Brady’s new cryptic quote on Instagram just might represent his biggest social media bombshell yet.

And his followers tried to figure out the meaning of his quote about cheaters. The quote by Muhammad Ali comes almost a full year after Brady finalized his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, noted Page Six.

And Tom quoted Ali about “the personality of a person. The ways of a person. His thoughts, deeds, actions. Are all based around his heart. For what is a man? A man is his heart. A lying cheating heart means a lying cheating man.”

And Brady’s quote continues, “A loving merciful heart means a loving merciful man. Regardless to a man’s title. Regardless to a man’s rank, wealth or position, if the heart is not great then he cannot be great. But if the heart is great that man remains great under all circumstances, rich or poor, large or small, for it is the heart that makes one large or small.”

However, the retired NFL star, 46, then posted his own thoughts about the meaning. And he advised his Instagram followers to feel “proud of the man in the glass.”

Tom Brady Divorced Gisele Bündchen A Year Ago

However, even though months have passed since Brady and his now ex-wife Gisele Bündchen ended their marriage of more than a dozen years, fans thought that Tom referred to the former Victoria’s Secret Angel. The estranged spouses had lived separately for months prior to making the split legal. 

And insiders revealed that Tom and Giselle fought over Brady refusing to retire from his football career. However, the former New England Patriots quarterback did retire in 2021. But a year later, he returned. And Tom then retired for a second and final time in February 2023.

But Bündchen, 43, denied rumors of an epic fight. And she called those claims “very hurtful. If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me,” she added. “I want him to achieve and to conquer. I want all his dreams to come true.”

And since the split, the two have co-parented Vivian, 11, and Benjamine, 14. But Giselle shared that she also supports Brady’s oldest son Jack, 16, whom the athlete shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

As for Brady’s current romantic life, he and Irina Shayk enjoy an on-again, off-again relationship. But Bündchen denied rumors that she has become involved with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente.

Tom Brady Fans React To Cryptic Quote

However, reactions varied after Brady’s bombshell. For instance, one commentator posted, “Maybe he should’ve thought about sending a message like that if he didn’t mean anything by it. Seeing everyone is taking it the wrong way guess the world is wrong.”

And another noted, “He knows exactly what he is doing. He wants to speak up. She cheated and is still with the martial arts guy. Look up photos they were on quote family vacations unquote without Tom a year before they divorced. Nobody brings their martial arts instructor on vacations with their kids.”

But some thought that Tom needed to appreciate his life. For example, one such critic pointed out, “What more could a person want? Riches. Beautiful children. Popularity. Incredibly attractive. I bet they both wish they could get back together.”

And one follower thought that Tom’s message seems clear. “Be proud of the Man in glass.” However, another added, “None of that matters if the heart is not pure. He insinuates that Bundchen is not genuine.”
