But the family fun came with one member noticeably missing. And Tom headed out for quality time with his children only hours after his divorce from now-ex wife Gisele Bündchen became final. Get all the details below.

For weeks, rumors that Gisele and Tom would split swirled. And evidence such as visits to divorce lawyers added to the gossip. But the evidence, in the form of individual Instagram statements, came suddenly and with a grim finality. 

And Brady seemed to signal his plan for life after divorce by spending quality time with his children. Tom’s and Gisele’s daughter Vivian, age 9, and son Benjamin, age 12, enjoyed a movie date with their famous father on Friday evening. Brady headed out with his children only a few hours after the news spread that he and Bündchen, 42, have become officially single, noted Page Six.

But the Friday night mood for the kids’ date with their dad seemed to emphasize casual fun. For instance, the 45-year-old athlete headed inside the CMX CineBistro in Hyde Park, Fla., wearing white pants, a gray sweater, and a baseball cap. And his daughter looked adorable in a little hoodie, Capri pants, and socks with flip-flops. Benjamin stayed cool in shorts and a T-shirt.

Because Tom and Gisele lived separately for months prior to divorce, the children have become used to individual activities with each parent. And Brady focuses on putting the fun into his time with the kids, shared an insider. But training with his team does mean dividing up his time between parenting and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, the source added that Brady always feels “happy when he is with his kids.” And the children love spending time with their “very involved dad,” shared the insider. “When the kids are with Tom, he tries to make it fun with various kids’ activities. You can tell that he loves being a dad.”

Since tying the knot in 2009, Brady and Bündchen faced challenges in what the model viewed as his lack of family time. And her statement seemed to indicate that clash. But Tom kept his Instagram statement about the divorce positive in contrast to Gisele’s.

Gisele Bündchen – Throws Shade At Tom Brady On Instagram

And Brady turned to his Instagram Story to share his summary. “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” wrote the Super Bowl champion. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time spent together.” And he added, “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”

However, Bündchen seemed to throw shade at her now ex-husband’s decision to cancel his retirement from the NFL. And she shared that her own focus “has always been and will continue to be” their kids. But Gisele finished on a positive note as well, promising to “continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve.”
