There’s a new report that suggests Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise is having a very hard time finding a date these days. That’s because there might be a lot of potential dates that are wary about his connection to the Church of Scientology. That, and they are all too familiar with his reputation as being a bossy egomaniac. Here’s what you need to know.

According to The National Enquirer, Tom can’t understand why there aren’t any eligible women out there who wouldn’t mind being his date at some of the most prestigious events in the industry or even for some of his red carpet affairs.

One source puts it this way, “Tom would love to have someone in his life, but the truth is his reputation just isn’t great.”

As many of Tom’s fans know, the last relationship he had was with actress Hayley Atwell. But apparently, Hayley was feeling very confused about her feelings for him as they were on-again, off-again for quite a few years. The tipster added that Tom, “really worked hard to hang on to Hayley. But his controlling ways got too much for her – and she ended it. Women find him way too intense, and he’s turned into Hollywood’s least eligible bachelor.”

Apparently, Tom “wants all the focus to be on him. He needs to be the star in any relationship,” while also adding, “This goes to show how extreme Tom can be.”
