There’s a new report that says Tom has been left quite upset after he got shafted by Shakira. He was hoping that they would start a relationship together after he met her in Miami back in May, but it seems like she had her eye on a different man instead: Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton. Earlier reports have said that Shakira didn’t really have much interest in Tom and that she was too busy focusing on her family instead. However, she was spotted having dinner with Lewis Hamilton and later on hanging out on his boat. Rumor has it that the two have been dating ever since then.
And now it seems like Tom is feeling super sad about it as he was hoping for the opportunity to get to know Shakira a little better.
One source close to the situation even said, “It was a huge dent to Tom’s ego. It stung all the more because he considers Lewis a buddy,” while also adding that Tom thought he “had incredible chemistry and taking it as a slam dunk they’d be dating in no time.”

Yet, it seems like Shakria made it pretty clear from the beginning that she simply didn’t have any interest in Tom Cruise. He might have confused her politeness with flirting. That’s because she was too busy checking out Lewis Hamilton in the same room!

The insider said, “She doesn’t want to embarrass or upset him, but there’s no attraction or romance on her part – she was just being friendly. She’s flattered but not interested.”
So far Tom Cruise himself has not made any comments about the matter. That said, we are sure he is going to find that special someone soon enough. After all, he is the one and only Tom Cruise.
