Tom Cruise Participating In Paris Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony With Major StuntAs the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics wind to a close, there’s a buzz that the closing ceremony, which takes place on Sunday, August 11, will feature actor Tom Cruise. TMZ and Deadline report that Cruise will play a key role in the closing ceremony event, possibly executing a dangerous stunt, which has become a bit of a trademark for him.

What Will Tom Cruise Do During The Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony?

While the Olympic Committee has yet to confirm the actor’s participation in the Olympics’ closing ceremony, the rumors swirling is that he’ll be a part of handing over the Olympic flag from Paris to Los Angeles, the city set to host the 2028 Summer Olympics.

As per TMZ, there’s a chance Cruise will rope down from the top of Stade de France, which is the venue for the closing ceremony.

Adding fuel to the speculation fire, Cruise has been seen at a number of events during the Summer Games in Paris.

This included the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics All-Around Final and was accompanied by fellow entertainment industry bigwigs, Christopher McQuarrie and David Zaslav.

In addition, he’s been spotted with other celebrities at the Summer Games, including Margot Robbie, Steven Spielberg, and Greta Gerwig.

More On Tom Cruise’s Possible Stunt At The 2024 Paris Games’ Closing Ceremony

Last March, reports surfaced about Cruise’s involvement in a “mysterious” filming project around the Hollywood sign in L.A. TMZ alleges that they have footage of Cruise climbing up the iconic landmark, handing over what looks like a rolled-up Olympic flag to a cyclist.

This has led to some believing the scene could be a pre-recorded segment for the closing ceremony event, highlighting the journey of the Olympic flag to Los Angeles from Paris.

It’s been stated that Cruise won’t be the only one involved in the possible closing ceremonies stunt, as a volleyball player and skateboarder will also participate in it.

This isn’t Cruise’s first time at an Olympic event, as he also carried the Olympic torch from L.A. to Athens, Greece in 2004.
