Tom Cruise Wants To ‘Pursue’ Shakira

It looks like love isn’t dead in Hollywood after all. Apparently, Tom Cruise isn’t interested in just courting Shakira. Apparently, he wants to “pursue” the pop star as well.

There’s a new report that suggests the Hollywood star is looking to make his mark on the chart topper now that she’s single. As many fans probably already know, Shakira had a rather nasty split with her ex, footballer Gerard Pique. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, a Tom and Shakira relationship might be in the works because it looks like this would be an opportunity for both of them to move forward – both personally and professionally. One source close to the situation even put it this way, “He is extremely interested in pursuing her. There is chemistry.”

The news comes after Tom was spotted flirting with Shakira at the 2023 Formula Miami Grand Prix this past weekend. They even spent time together in a private hospitality suite, which prompted some people to raise their eyebrows. But it’s not like anyone is complaining.

The source added, “Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom. He has the benefit of being a nice-looking guy, and he is talented.”

What’s Next For Shakira?

If that weren’t enough, the source also had to mention their height by saying, “And she isn’t taller than him.”

Tom is reported to be about 5’7” while Shakira is only 5’2”.

This might be a good thing as Shakira apparently needs a distraction. Back in March, she made it no secret that she’s not a fan of her ex-husband’s new girlfriend, Clara Chia. While speaking to Enrique Acevedo on the Mexican channel Canal Estrellas, Shakira talked about her split from the international soccer star by stating, “There is a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women.”

She continued, “Now paradoxically I feel complete because I depend on myself and I have two children who depend on me and that means I have to be stronger than a lioness. That strength comes out of experiencing a painful loss, of accepting it, of tolerating a frustration, of understanding that life doesn’t always bring us what we want.”
