Tom Cruise’s Daughter Suri Spotted Alone On NYC Streets

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have done a phenomenal job of keeping their daughter Suri Cruise out of the limelight. 

Despite living in NYC since her divorce years ago, Katie Holmes has given her daughter the most normal life possible considering who her father is.  But, Suri Cruise is growing up, and is starting to realize she is a celebrity.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were married in 2006, after having their daughter Suri the couple split.

In 2012 Katie filed for divorce from the Hollywood icon and Mission Impossible star.  Holmes was granted custody of their daughter and has been raising her in SOHO ever since.

The details of the high-profile divorce were kept quiet, but rumor has it Tom Cruise is not active in his daughter’s life and hasn’t seen her for years.

Over the years Katie and Suri have been photographed dozens of times strolling the streets of New York City.  But, Katie’s mini-me is now 17 years old and is stepping out on her own. 

This week the paparazzi snapped photos of her in a floral dress that we’re pretty confident came from her mom’s Dawson’s Creek 90’s wardrobe.

Suri Cruise – Is Cut From A Different Cloth

Unlike other A-list celebs’ teenagers, the media has always been fascinated with Suri Cruise because she doesn’t speak out or have a wild social media alter-ego. 

In fact, Suri is so quiet, we couldn’t even tell you anything about the teen, what her interests are or what she plans to do as she ventures in to adulthood.  It’s actually amazing that she hasn’t fallen in to the teen Hollywood trap, but is all that about to change?

Suri Cruise is getting older and is aware of her star-power.  Will Katie Holmes be able to keep her on the straight and narrow as she begins venturing out on her own?  Is it smart for her to be wandering around NYC by herself at this age with no security?
