Tori Spelling – Admits Her COVID-19 Struggles
Social media has become a place for celebrities to share inside glimpses of their lives. And Tori Spelling has often used that platform, especially Instagram, for confiding in her followers. But this week, Tori told her Instagram fans that she actually suffered from COVID-19 for awhile without revealing it, reported People.
Sharing a sweet photo of herself with one of her children, Spelling wrote, “I share a lot on social media but this is one thing I didn’t want to share. But, at this point people are getting frustrated not getting responses personally and business wise from me and wondering why I’m MIA.” As a result, Tori opened up to her Instagram followers.
“I finally decided to share. Our entire family has COVID. Yes, every single member got it,” wrote Spelling. The actress revealed that her family members have experienced different levels of symptoms. And although she hoped at first that they shared a cold, she soon got the devastating diagnosis.
Tori Spelling – ‘I Feel Useless As A Parent,’ Admits Tori Spelling
Tori shared that she became so ill that she couldn’t even take care of her children. “Nothing is worse than wanting to care for your little ones but feeling so sick you can barely function yourself,” noted the actress. “I feel useless as a parent. Devastated. A mom is supposed to take care of their kiddos when sick. That’s how it works. But, we are all getting thru this together.”
Spelling, 48, co-parents Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 4, with her husband Dean McDermott. And Dean has shared his own health struggles as well. Tori’s husband revealed that he suffered from pneumonia, sharing an Instagram video in bed.
“I am sick as a dog,” admitted McDermott. But he sought for a positive note in his social media post. “I am not going to let that dampen my spirits. 2022 is going to be awesome. 2022, we’re going to get through.”
An insider described Tori and Dean as dealing with “a great deal of tension.” But despite that relationship challenge, the couple “prefer to keep the marriage strong. They both enjoy being a family and love their lives with the kids,” added the insider. “Marriages with five children need to have a lot of trust, love and understanding.”
