Tory made the tweet way back in February and it says “Good d*** had me f***ing 2 best friends … and I got caught … that’s what I apologized for … it’s sick how u Spun it tho …”
Judge David Herriford revoked Lanez’s prior bail of $250K and raised it to $350K after finding out that Lanez violated court orders prohibiting him from contacting or harassing Megan or discussing any discovery in the case with outside parties.
It is said that the prosecutors initially requested that Tory be held in custody without bail or bailed at $5 Million.
Why Tory Lanez Was Ordered Not To Make Contact With Megan Thee Stallion
This case goes way back to 2020. It was alleged that Tory Lanez whose real name is Daystar Peterson, fired a gun at Megan Thee Stallion on their way back from a party hosted by Kylie Jenner. Megan in a post said the gun was fired to cause her physical harm.
Megan stated, “I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.”
An LAPD detective testified in the December hearing that Tory allegedly fired a semiautomatic 9mm handgun at the ground near Megan’s feet, injuring the “Savage” singer, during an argument that followed their departure from a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house.
Detective Ryan Stogner said he was assigned to the case two days after the shooting and interviewed Megan over the phone on July 16, 2020, and again on Nov. 12, 2020. He said Megan, whose legal name is Megan Pete, recalled witnessing Peterson pull the trigger.
“As she exited the vehicle, she heard Mr. Peterson yelling obscenities at her, and he stated, ‘Dance, bitch!’ And he then began firing a weapon at her,” Stogner testified.
“(Megan) observed Mr. Peterson holding a firearm, and then she observed him start to shoot,” Stogner said. “Megan immediately felt pain to her feet, observed blood, fell to the ground, and then crawled to an adjacent driveway of a residence…She described her injuries as bleeding profusely.”
Does Tory Lanez Have Someone On The Outside?
Nearly two hours before Tory made that tweet in February, a Twitter user by the name of Dj Akademiks made a post that reads “BREAKING: It was revealed in court few moments ago that Tory Lanez DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case.”
The tweet made the prosecutors speculate that Dj Akademiks got the information from Tory’s team. Nonetheless, Tory’s attorney Shawn Holley refuted the claim saying “What he (Dj Akademiks) said is incorrect, what DJ Akademiks said is that the DNA was not found on the weapon. And in fact, the swab of the gun indicates ‘inconclusive,’ that there were four contributors.”
Fifteen minutes after the first post, Dj Akademiks made another tweet saying “I saw this doc myself.. it literally says it was inconclusive in finding Tory DNA on the gun or magazine.” Holley insisted that was also false, because “the swab of the magazine indicates Mr. Peterson was excluded.”
“If he had seen this document, he presumably would have got it right,” she argued, calling the tweets “chatter” in “a medium that is almost inherently unreliable.”
