Chiefs player Travis Kelce has revealed that he won’t be be expanding his resume when it comes to reality TV. The boyfriend of pop star Taylor Swift has in the past been game for just about anything but it looks like the 34-year-old tight end knows what he wants and it isn’t an unscripted TV series.
Kelce – Says No To Quarterback Series
Kelce recently revealed that he is content with what he currently has going on in his life; football and his podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
While speaking about a possible appearance in season two of the Netflix docuseries Quarterback, the Ohio native shared that he has no plans to follow in Quarterback Patrick Mahomes footsteps as Kelce turned down an appearance in the series.
“After Pat did it, I did get asked about it. I don’t know. I’d rather just play ball, man,” Travis explained during an appearance on the podcast, Bussin’ With the Boys.
“I’m already doing enough with the podcast and everything.” He added, “I’m way over the reality sh*t. I’m out on that sh*t.”
Kelce’s Past Reality Ventures Made Him Change His Mind?
It’s possible Kelce made his mind up about reality TV after filming as host of Are you Smarter Than A Celebrity? The series will run on Prime Video with a release date not yet revealed.
Kelce was also the star of his own reality show entitled Catching Kelce that aired back in 2016. The show saw Kelce searching for love similar to that of the Bachelor.
Recently, Travis Kelce announced along with his brother Jason that the two would be taking a break from recording their podcast for two months so that the younger Kelce can focus on the upcoming season of the NFL season.
The first pre-season game for Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will take place on August 10th. Keep checking here for more Celebrity Gossip.
