Tristan Thompson Owes Back Child Support

According to a new report, Tristan Thompson hasn’t paid child support for his two-year-old son. The Cleveland Cavaliers had an affair with Maralee Nichols while he was in a public relationship with Khloe Kardashian.

The two ended up having a son. Tristan has yet to meet his son, and now he refuses to pay child support.

Tristan Thompson Owes Big Money To Former Lover

According to a report via TMZ, the fitness instructor sued Tristan for back child support. He was court-ordered to pay her $9,500 per month.

The U.S. Sun obtained new court documents that revealed that Tristan is still behind on these payments. A judge ordered him to pay $57,000.

The papers were filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court. They claim that Tristan Thompson failed to make payments from September 13, 2023, to January 31, 2024.

It’s unclear whether he agreed to pay the back funds. His lawyer and representative refuse to speak to the media.

Maralee Nichols also isn’t speaking out during this time. The former lovers have been handling their affair in court.

It was previously revealed that Tristan’s NBA contracts made him $100 million at the height of his career. It all came tumbling down when he was suspended.

Tristan Thompson’s NBA Suspension

In January, Tristan Thompson’s NBA season was off to a rough start. The league suspended him for 25 games without pay. Tristan violated their anti-drug rules.

The NBA released a statement that read he was accused of “violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program by testing positive for ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033.”

Tristan’s team was “disappointed” by this revelation. However, they will continue to support him moving forward.

“The Cleveland Cavaliers fully support the NBA/NBAPA Anti-Drug Program, and we are disappointed in the recent news surrounding Tristan Thompson,” the organization said. “His time away from game action will have an impact on our team. We stand behind Tristan and offer our support throughout his suspension period.”

Tristan Thompson hasn’t spoken out about his suspension. He appeared in the previous season of The Kardashians, where he tried to make things right with Khloe and her family.
