However, Cohen recently sparked a backlash because of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) reunion. And his comments seemingly favoring Lisa Rinna over Garcelle Beauvais caused fans to flood Andy with criticism. As a result, Andy shared a very rare reaction. Get all the details below.

Twitter Slams Andy Cohen Over Lisa Rinna: Here’s Why!

Andy Cohen recently hosted the RHOBH reunion. And one scene during that episode featured Lisa Rinna. The Days Of Our Lives alum confessed that she had tossed a memoir written by her co-star Garcelle Beauvais into the trash. And another co-star, Erika Jayne posted a photo of the book in the trash on her own social media, noted Us magazine.

As a result, Erika got credited for trashing Garcelle’s book. But Rinna confessed at last. “I have to be honest — I’m the one that tossed Garcelle’s book in the trash,” shared Rinna. “Garcelle and I had a handshake agreement the kids were off limits. And so, about a year and a half later, she put my daughter Amelia [Hamlin] in her book in not a positive light, in a negative light. And that’s what I did.”

The reunion cameras showed Beauvais looking extremely distressed. And Garcelle tried to defend herself. Because the book already got scheduled for release, Beauvais created a second addition without Lisa’s daughter in it. But rather than focus on Garcelle’s obvious distress, Andy shifted the subject to why Rinna didn’t recycle. And he made a joke out of the situation. As a result, Twitter slammed Cohen for not supporting Garcelle.

Andy Cohen – Apologizes For Ignoring Garcelle Beauvais’ Discomfort

Twitter flooded the Bravo TV king with criticism about seemingly siding with Garcelle over Lisa during their feud. As a result, he apologized during his radio show. “I need to really sincerely apologize not only for diverting the topic,” began Andy. “But for not returning — even worse — to the serious conversation that was at hand.”

And the Bravo producer/host also expressed “deep admiration for Garcelle.” However, he also seemed to excuse himself by claiming he got into a “really good, productive conversation” with Beauvais after the reunion episode. But Andy then addressed the Twitter backlash.

“I should have been more in tune with her feelings,” shared Cohen about Garcelle. And he noted that he read all the Twitter feedback. “I just wanted to say that because I’ve been logging in,” added Andy. “And I get [what fans criticized].”

However, Cohen did admit during the reunion episode that he feels concerned about Lisa’s social media posts. And he revealed that he had talked with Rinna “about this privately many times.” But Andy also pointed out that the Days Of Our Lives alum makes “so much trouble for yourself. You post something and then you wind up having to delete it.”
